I have seen the ICQ in use on my friends' computers, and it really is cool for
a nearly real-time conversation. I'd download it in a second if I wasn't still
using university computers that don't let you put foreign programs on them.

I think that would be a lot of fun. We've not gotten a number yet, but
Susan is working on it.

So, between England and Alaska, what might be a workable common time for
this "cyber-summit"? 'Twould be great to have a regular time, if one can
be found - tune in in real time, all of us? Any suggestions for the
magic hour?

among all the folks with the chat program installed, how far spread out are
you?

I occasionally get to visit one gal in the Netherlands; it's early afternoon
in Missouri and mid-evening (8 or 9pm?) over there.... That's not bad. This
will probably work out comfortably for everyone, or else we can have 2
different times designated, one leaning to the west and one leaning to the
east.... anyhow, I'm a chataholic, so when the puter is home, (another week or
2?) I will be joining the fun one way or another
:-D
